This is my outlet for pet peeves, gripes, kvetches, brickbats, etc. It seems that I am not mellowing with age.

Address Labels
I have a lifetime supply of address labels, note pads, stickers, greeting cards, pens, calendars etc. They keep coming in the mail. My mother died 8 years ago and I still have some wrapping paper and note pads that were sent to her. My husband dies 8 months ago, and of course, they are still coming for him. I throw out the name/address labels because I can't use them, but I like the note pads, so I keep them. My mother and husband had, literally, a lifetime supply. At this point, unless I live to be 110, I do too.
Some of them are so nice that I don't want to throw them away. I guess my kids will inherit the collection. Or, maybe I should open a stationary store.

Missing products
Did you ever discover a great new product at the supermarket and get really hooked on it? Me too. Then they stop carrying it. Or, you buy something for several years and it disappears. The store still carries the line, but when you ask at customer service, they tell you that they no longer carry that item. Now you have to go to another store for just one item.
Of course, you can't get out with just one item, because you find at least three other things you need too. Then, while you're unpacking your groceries at home, you realize that you forgot the milk. Arrgh!
Anybody know where I can get Saga Blue Brie or Progresso Chicken Cheese Enchilada?

Table Hogs at Coffee Shops
I like to take my grandchildren to Starbucks for lunch. They love the healthy sandwiches and, of course, the desserts.
So there we are, juggling our plates and cups, looking for a table. Oh wait, all the tables are occupied, by people spread out with their computers and... a cup of coffee. One person, one cup. That's it.
Okay, we can wait a few minutes. You people know who you are. If you haven't purchased any food, you don't need a table! Go to the library, where you can sit all day!

People who can't park
You know what bothers me, among other things? Parking space hogs. You know, the inconsiderate type. They park on the line or even over it, so you can't get into your vehicle when you come back. Or even worse, they take up two spaces when there are precious few of them.
How about those little cars that pull as far into the space as possible. As you're driving down the aisle you think there's an empty space, but no, it's a matchbox car in there.
